Whats is your wallet?

My husband is always looking into my purse and telling me that I should organize it. I think that I keep it messy just to tick him off and have a teeny bit of control over MY STUFF. If you can't keep your bags and purses the way that you want, that's just sad. It is hard to keep a tidy purse when you have little ones. BTW, Soulemama made her kids little vegetable costumes to wear when they put on veggie plays! I think I'll just throw a Veggie Tale movie on. Better yet, I'll throw in some carrots with my kids baloney(bologna?) that I cut. I'm glad I'm not the only messy purse mama out there. Thanks ladies.

Im trying to remember everything I wanted to comment on...10 minutes is alot for me to try to think back on:) I know I wanted to tell yout hat fiber is mainly used for "flow" I do believe...it has nutritional value...and keeps things movin. How much fiber should a girl have in a day though...thats the question...
I dont know how you carry so much heavy stuff in your purse by the wsy....OMGoodness!!! I love big huge bags/purses, but usually carry only small items, wallet, checkbook, lipstick (5 of those!!) pens, wet wipes, and reciepts from all over, Target mostly:)
And strangely enough, your so right baout target having cheap cereal! I never understood that!
GO TARGET! yet one more reason to add to my already long list of why I love target.
Anything juicy you wanna talk about...I noticed the last blog didnt have too many comments...or maybe that can of worms shouldnt be opened again...? haha

yes..."bologna" is the proper spelling. :)

Cici...it's called "UNschooling" not "non-schooling". Just FYI.

From a co-worker's wife (who fed her children PB&J's 4 times this week. It was all organic, though. LOL)

Ceci, is your name short for Cecilia or Cecelia? Mandy, are you an Amanda? Also, did you each name your children the name that you call them, or is there a shortened version? For instance is Jack really Jackson? Do you shorten Elliana? Just wondering...

I cleaned out my wife's purse once because it was bothering me that is was a mess, and I got in trouble for it. Who writes an important phone number on the back of a gum wrapper and expects it to be saved?!

Hahaha! "Leather mama biker bag" that is awesome! Us mothers put so much pressure on ourselves to be so perfect and it is nothin' but refreshing to know no one is so perfect AND that Mandy thinks very little of not only having SOCKS in her purse but "socks from a couple weeks ago when we went bowling"- a couple weeks ago!! That is GREAT!!
Oh, and Ceci, you will be the one "paying the bill" if Mandy keeps up on that whey protein because it gives you AWFUL gas!! (well, I mean...I have heard that...it doesn't to ME or anything...HAHA!!) You girls are great! Thanks for keeping it real and being a breath of fresh air!
In all seriousness (is that even a word??), people really need to know that we are all 'real' people and you girls are an awesome example!!

A couple of years ago Post tried to push a healthy version of alphabits that had zero sugar. I bought a box, and it was horrible. zero sugar = zero taste.

If you ever do weight watchers, you get to take fiber into account when figuring out the points of a particular food. More fiber = less points.

Yes, since when are guys allowed to go thru our purses. It makes me want to write a note from an "admirer" for him to find. He would know that it was me though, I couldn't pull it off.

I just switched purses. I have my wallet, camera, photo book, gum, chapstick, lipstick, eyeglass cleaner and a bottle of Advil.

As we all agree we dont like others (unless of course we offer it up) to go thru our purses. Have you ever looked in your husbands wallet??? Hmmmmm? J

very good point J !!!!! I personally have read these comments from other fellow bloggers...and thought, "I could care less if and when my husband went into my purse!" Im not hiding anything, and our checkbook is joint, so whats the big deal? The worst thing that would happen would be him using the kids wet wipes!
To me it's not about him invading my privacy which would more than likely be the argument here...my purse is like my on the go junk drawer:) haha
so without using the "he's invading my privacy" line...why do you care if your husband goes through your purse? Now...someone other then him...NO! I would say then the line is crossed, but not with my husband.
food for thought...:)

Oh, I'd be fine with him going in, but not to critique "the junk drawer" of a purse that I have. He likes to organize everything. My purse is my own little turf where I can throw in candy wrappers from the kids, kleenex, gift cards, and NOT have them HAVE TO go in a certain spot. If he just grabbed a tissue or a piece of gum, fine. But to laugh condesendingly at my contents is not o.k.

Guess Im just not that touchy with that subject. If he laughed at me because of whats in my purse...well, not such a big deal I guess.
but there are other things I would be more sensitive about! Not even gonna get into that:) ha

Ceci,
It's Tricia (Gammons) Falder. So fun to see your face. Who are you??? You're a celebrity in Holland. Hope you are well. I traveled over from Holly's blog.

I can see your point. It's just that my dh has ocd and gets ornery if things are out of place. I'd rather spare myself the grief. If he wasn't so "Monk", I wouldn't care.

first time I watched your blog. you look way different than I thought. very cute. I always carry a HUGE purse so recently I tried to downsize. it lasted for several weeks but I finally could not get the purse closed and went back to "tote". I am a grandma now but still carry extra candy, kleenex, gum, pencils, paper, crayons, etc. Everyone knows that if they need something, grandma probably has it in her purse - especially during Church. I love the look on their faces when I say "sure, I have that".

Wow you girls sure do have a lot of stuff in your purses:) I had to go look in mine and I have come to the realization that my purse is boring.

my Mom always was very private about her purse. So I am also. Maybe it is something we need to learn at home, so it isn't considered anyones property when you are out in public. I remember someone going through my purse in high school and yelling out all the personal things in it....not a good memory.
Just my opinion of why purses are private.
PS. Even when I tell my DH to take something out of mine, he brings it to me to get it for him....
