You know what they say...it takes a village to raise a child. We all need a Mary Jo to share cool experiences with our children that they would not experience with us. Very cool!
Like I sad in the last blog, we are all blessed with different gifts. Embrace the ones you have and dont sweat the small stuff. Life is far too short to worry about all the things that we are not gifted to do. You two are great and bring a lot of things to the table!
That is so funny. I've been reading the Soulemama blog (since you recommended it C.) I find myself having to read it, but yet NOT wanting to see what she has sewn for her children, baked from scratch, homeschooled them....It's like a giant billboard saying "look her kids have eaten organic hummus on whole wheat, yours had baloney on crackers!" Yet every couple of days, I go back and look. Why do we do this? P.S. in my defense, I did actually CUT the baloney myself!
the last 10 seconds of the talky was the BEST! That is it!! If we could all tap into each other's strengths and help each other instead of trying to tear each other down, think what powerhouses we could be-together! I am so happy to hear that Ceci does not send Thank you notes! Girl, with all your craftyness (that is spelled wrong isn't it?!),I was sure you had a drawer full of cute little hand stamped thank you cards ready to go on a moments notice! I am so relieved! HAHA!
It is funny to hear about the thank you notes because I have been stuggling to send them out after the baptism of my daughter about 4 weeks ago. I am just finshing them up. I am glad I'm not the only one who has bought those reuseable bags and forgets to take them in. Once I did go back out to my car after I remembered but I am usually standing at the check out when I realize I don't have them. Oh well its the intent that counts. Right?
You guys both look GREAT today:) Great talky blog, really enjoyed it. Ceci, I'm sure you are the perfect mama to your girls. Mandi, we all get tired keeping up with our kids, especially outside:)
This blog is meant to be an extension of my show "Connect with Ceci" on 99.3, Mon-Fri 10:30-3:00. I appreciate comments and insights, so together we can connect...with God, our community and the world.

Reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where George and Jerry work together to be the perfect boyfriend... Did you see that one Ceci?
