It's a horrible yearly ritual...

Bathing Suit shopping, that is.

I have been doing Pilates consistently now, for like a year and a half. I am in the best shape of my life (except for that one year in High School where I rode the Air-Dyne everyday for an hour) You'd think for once in my life, bathing suit shopping wouldn't be so bad. But it is. It just is. So, I procrastinate this year, like I do every year. Now I have a big problem. I need a suit tonight for a swim party, and it needs to be "appropriate" because it is a youth group swim party. I have literally ten minutes to pick something out, because, although I work at a mall, I am technically supposed to be here, in my studio, not out shopping for bathing suits.
But this time is different. I think the bathing suit gods are looking out for me today (no, I do not believe in gods--small g--shopping related ones or otherwise, it was meant to be funny) In my ten minutes, I find both a top that fit, in the youth-group-appropriate "tankini" style, AND bottoms with a little skirt to hide the bumpy parts, AND in cute colors! AND...I know the manager of the store, so she slipped me a coupon while I was in line to pay for them. WhooHooo. If only underwear shopping went this well...

And no, I will not be posting a picture on this blog, so don't even ask.

Because its a youth event, it needs to be appropriate? How about because you're supposed to be a Christian woman, an example. You disgust me.
