(see capital letters again!) haha way to clear things up! what you dont understand is that I too can "internalize" things and when I went up to you...and felt kinda shot down, I felt like I did something to offend you. I just got that feedback from you. It made me get defensive! I went to my friends and was talking about it..and you girls came out on stage..and I said to one of my friends"they are not as nice as they are potraying on stage right now!!!!!!" I was upset. BUT...now I know that all kinds of things can play into your day, just like they can mine. Guess its called being human. Sometimes Im learning that they way I fell all the time really doesnt matter. I didnt realize that Mandy already felt bad enough about her shyness...without me pointing it out! Like you needed that right!!!! Im sooooo glad you took the time to clear this up! love you even more now!!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
I feel compelled to write something to the both of you because there have ben many of nights where I have needed to hear some of things that you have said. I am a single twenty something female who came upon your webiste one night that was not going so well ... I have been an avid listener of JQ and have listened to the both you daily but when I stumbled across the talkies it felt like a saving grace. I am thankful for both you -- shy or not -- for allowing us into your lives and letting us know that it is ok to be real and to be human -- not being able to find a camera -- not wanting to talk early in the morning -- and refusing to make a right hand turn when the jerk behind you honks his horn ..... your talky blogs i have looked forward to in times of saddness -- my best fiend recently lost her two year old son to cancer and weekly pr bi weekly or evenn monthly when a new talky blog came up we would watch together from our seperate cities/houses/ hospital rooms ...
I just wanted you both to know that you make a difference and your unique charm -- being shy or being quirk or funny -- makes a difference in my life !
You are who you are and we love you for it. It is why we keep comin back :) You are not called to be perfect or to "entertain" in all circumstances. Thanks for just being real. Mandy, you are beautiful....and I think a lot of us get what your saying....so no worries. Just be you.
