that was so cool to hear you say that you wouldnt trafe where your at for all that crazy money. I agree with you, I think all that money would breed dis contentment like you or I cant even understand. you would never be excite for things...because you can have whatever you want...anytime you want. no thanks. I love being able to look forward to things:) the simplest things excite me now, like going apple picking...homecooked meals..baking, decorating my house...working in my yard. just the small things in life that make me really happy. It would be great to get all the credit card companies out of business competely and go to a cash economy. like when I was small and my parents actually worked and saved their money..and THEN made a purchase...instead of being 25 and buying a $400,00 house! this worls has gone crazy thinking they need things that they dont...and it puts pressure on everyone else...trying to keep up with the Jones' as they say. Its also breeding very unthankful, discontented kids. they arent happy unless they have a 3 ring circus going on at all times. And ceci your right bout Dave Ramsey...like he has said so many times, these scum bags working at the credit card companies are people who could get other jobs...and choose to instead sit in the idiots cubicle and scare people into thinking they are gonna take thier first born...and call every relative they have if they dont pay their bill on time. It's all ridiculous...cash is the way to go...if you dont have cash to buy something, you cant afford it. that simple. Now lets go listen to the debate tonight!!!! Can I say GO MCCAIN???
My husband and I just started using the payoff square spreadsheet that you and Dave started a couple months ago. I have found that I am more 'tight' with what we spend money on. It seems to have made us be more committed to paying off our debt. Thank you for the suggestion!
This blog is meant to be an extension of my show "Connect with Ceci" on 99.3, Mon-Fri 10:30-3:00. I appreciate comments and insights, so together we can connect...with God, our community and the world.
