I totally understand what you are saying. You can set it up to where you have to moderate your comments before they show up in your dashboard. Just a suggestion.
I like the Finance Friday idea!!! We have been CC free for a while now, and it has been heaven!!
totally understand!!!!! you have to be careful in the day we live in!!!! no one should have any issues with your request...I too had seen a comment that I thought you were going to not really appreciate, and sure enough...it was the one of two that you removed. I knew right away you werent going to like it. Im signed up now for the first time...and it's no big deal, took me about 10 seconds. :) hope all is well with the baby! you still look so good....cant tell at all that you have put on a pound! amazing! have a good week! H
You girls are doing great! Don't be afraid to let people know straight forward what is acceptable and what is not. Like you said, their intentions are "likely" good but you have to protect yourself and your family to a degree. Thanks for always being open and honest with us!
I understand what you are saying, however, you have to remember that a lot of people don't get to hear you on the radio all of the time and figure other people know things they don't, simply because they can listen to your whole show. I say that if your husband has something on his blog, it would be public information. After all, it is the world wide web. I don't think you can fault someone for congratulating you prematurely when your husband had already announced it to the world, basically.
Also, I caution you to be careful. Based on the information you have shared on the talky blogs and the pictures of your kids and house you have on here, it's VERY easy to connect the dots and figure out where you live, where your kids go to school etc. It's a sick, crazy world and I would just be very careful. You need to protect your family. I have a blog, but my husband (in the computer field) and I have a rule to never show our faces, our kids' faces or name where we live or any of that. There are a couple of websites that allow you enter someone's name and without paying (!), in 2 seconds you can know where they live, their date of birth..... please, be careful.
I love your blog and the talkies! Just be cautious.
I love the idea of being accountable. I also have to say that it might not be such a great idea to give too much debt reduction info.
It is tough because people do see your husbands blog....if he puts anything at all on his blog....then there is of course a good chance that many will see it whether you put it in your blog or not. Tough to keep your desired private stuff private if he has it on his blog!
I think I would set boundaries up with my hubby if we were in this boat you are in and establish (for our families safety, security, etc.) what is acceptable for us to know and what isn't.
I think you can be very helpful, encouraging and informative without telling us things that would best be saved for family and close friends.
Signing up is a good idea, I never knew it could be as quick and easy...and somehow I always thought that it required some kind of personal info I wouldn't be comfortable giving.
Moving on.......I would love to hear more from Mandy on her cleansing and dietary ideas as well as how her Cars w. Feet is going.
Yes, it's called "Twitter" and when I heard of it a few months ago, I thought it was ridiculous! Who cares what you're doing at a particular moment in time? But then I started following some Twitters of my friends and I can't explain it, but it's endlessly fascinating to me, so I added the feature? Because, you know, my life is so endlessly fascinating:)
This blog is meant to be an extension of my show "Connect with Ceci" on 99.3, Mon-Fri 10:30-3:00. I appreciate comments and insights, so together we can connect...with God, our community and the world.

Ceci,
Is the "What I'm doing section" on the blog correct? That looks different...
