One of our favorite things to do as a family on Saturdays (if they happen to be free of other obligations) is to take the girls to the Home Depot. On the first Saturday of the month they have projects for kids to construct, and this week the kids made really cute wooden trays. Of course, the girls wanted to paint theirs pink. So this morning, we busted out the pink spray paint. I had to laugh when Elliana not only wanted to paint hers pink, but print out a big "E" from the computer to put in the middle, and then paint it purple, so the E would show up pink. She is, after all, my daughter.
