Stolen Moments

This morning I was in my usual Friday rush, get up at 6, get to Pilates by 7, get home by 8:10, get ready, get to work by 9. I was in the zone this morning too, between Pilates and work, and managed to throw a pot of coffee on in the midst of the madness. I grabbed a cup, and had just enough time to throw it back...when my bleary-eyed husband appeared and poured himself a cup too. I looked at the clock, looked at him, looked back at the clock, and decided to stay for just 5 minutes longer to chat for a few. 5 minutes turned into 15, which turned into 25...when I finally had to leave to get on the air on time. We had the nicest stolen 25 minutes I can remember. We talked about the get together with my college friends the night before, our upcoming trip to Africa, highlights of the few conversations Dave had the day before, that he hadn't had the chance to share yet. And we had a few minutes to pray together before heading out the door into the great day ahead of us.

Praise God for stolen moments!

Thank you for sharing, I have the best moments when me and my husband are just laughing and goofing around with each others.
