This is the group of middle school students I talked to last night from Oakland CRC. I gave them a tour of the station and talked to them a bit from Phil 4:8 (whatever is true, pure , lovely...then think on these things...) I don't do these tours too much anymore, as it's hard to get a night away, but once in a while I'll talk to a group because I believe that if I was in middle school and got to tour a radio station and meet a DJ, I would have figured out much sooner what I wanted to be when I grew up! The girls were great and asked a lot of really good questions.Let's Connect!

Thanks for taking the time with the Gems. It is a great idea for them to be exposed to different jobs and ideas to help them decide what they'd like to do. (I wish someone would have done that with me!...who knows what I'd be doing now?)
