I love Sunday mornings!

"Mallory, put on your pink shoes for church. " "NO!"
"Mallory, put on your pink shoes for church." "NOOOOO! MY CROCS ON!"
"Mallory, put on your PINK shoes for church. "
"SHOES HURT FEET MOMMA "
"I'll make em hurt..."

And that is how we start Sunday's off every week.

Let's Connect!

What is it about Sunday mornings? Kids must love to act up that day. My husband also works at church so I get all three ready by myself - and always walk in with that smile....glad I am not the only mom who suffers!

yup I think kids know you want *so bad* for things to go well on Sunday morning maybe that is why they make it difficult...
Always a struggle over here...
Then, the entire way to church every week is "the talk" about behaving, representing the family, yada, yada, yada, then walking into church trying not to be "fake"....ekk! God help us all!!

Yup, through gritted teeth, "Come on, get ready, we're going to learn about God's love"... :)

It's a struggle, but my 14 yr old almost always says after, "I can see why we needed to be here today." :)

Keep the faith, it's worth the struggle! Cute picture. Glad to know it's not only my daughter.

I thought we were the only family that had Sunday Morning drama with getting the kids dressed and out the door. Thanks for making me feel like I'm not alone! Did you get Mallory's permission to use the pic? 'cause she's gonna kill you later in life.

Oh too funny. I can remember my then 2 year old going to church in his church clothes and his sisters fuzzy purple boots - I remember dropping him off in nursery and just laughing saying don't ask!

My husband's step mom has always said "The devil works his hardest on Sunday's" and you know, it's odd that my older kids can get up with out a problem for school at 6:30 but to get up for church at 9:00 - we'll you'd think they hadn't slept in days! It's pretty tough for those teens to get movin' sometimes!
