Dave told me he would build the girls a sandbox for the backyard this summer. I wanted to buy the plastic one from Sam's club that came with a matching picnic table, but I digress. I found these plans from a Bob Villa site. One version is a quick and easy sandbox, and you put seats on each corner. This is the deluxe version, with mitred corners and a seat bench that runs the whole length of the box. Nice, huh? I think Dave was trying to delay the project because he reminded me that the battery from our drill was dead. But, no problem...I bought him one for Fathers Day. Oddly enough, it is a Bob Villa drill my mom ordered for me off of QVC. He was less than thrilled with his early gift. I mean, he's not dumb. A working drill just means MORE PROJECTS!!!
