Here is Mallory and her little boyfriend Max gobbling up corn on our camping trip this weekend. This is the first sucessful camping trip for our family. Dave and I ARE NOT big campers, but we grudgingly went along to spend some time around the camfire with our dear friends. The kids had the time of their lives, and I had a pretty good time too. Nobody told me there was a warm pool at the camp site, which is where we spent most of our free time. Elliana wants to go camping every weekend for the rest of the summer, I think we'll try to make it one weekend a summer!

How Sweet!!! Where did you end up camping??? I need to get the whole family camping too. CeCi you played a song around 1:05 today not sure the name and artist but it has the words "Jesus is Life". What is the song and artist???

Steven Curtis Chapman sings Jesus is Life. Went camping to Silver Lake, didn't spend much time at the lake, just the pool in the campground.
It looks like the type of camping you did was "tent" camping. That does look like a ton of work/fun! Trailer camping is alright, but I end up taking way too much stuff with just because I can fit it all in there. Then EVERYTHING needs to be cleaned afterwards. I'm tired just thinking about it...
just think of the memories for your kids (that's what gets me through camping! LOL) We always say "five hours of work for five minutes of fun"..) we take lots of pictures and remind the kids often of how much "fun" that was... :)
