Thank you notes

I'm really terrible at writing Thank You notes. It was the most stressful part of my wedding, and birth of my children. I appreciate the gifts, but between locating the actual thank you cards with the matching envelopes, then digging up the correct addresses, and to top it all off...finding a stamp with the current postage rate, AAAGGHH.
This year one of my new year's resoultions is to start writing thoughful Thank You notes. I found the cutest notes at Target today, with a little "C" on them and bought me a bunch! I remembered to bring stamps from home and today, I wrote my first Thank You note since the birth of my first child. Know what? It didn't take much time, and it felt great. Although I'm just going to throw it on the receipients desk instead of mailing it (can't find the address), I am feeling pretty good. Let's just hope it doesn't get lost in my backpack for months and I have to give it to the person with an "I'm Sorry" card for being so late. (It's happened before!)
