I'm ready for Spring, no, Summer!

Our garage has exactly 1 foot of black sludge, a mixture of snow, ice and mud...which constantly gets tracked into the house. I'm cold all the time. The humidifiers are on full blast, which makes me worry about putting fungus or something terrible in the air (I'm not real fanatical about cleaning them as much as I should). I have another cold. I can only wear my new shoes when I remember to pack them and change out of my boots into them. I find myself staring at the beach down the road and thinking, one day real soon I'm going to be sitting on that beach, wishing I'd remembered to pack extra sunblock and a water, CUZ I'M SO HOT AND SUNBURNED.

p.s. In all honesty, what I really love about Michigan is the changing of the seasons. It's cool to see God breathe new life into the trees, and into me, in the Springtime.

I'm ready for summer and a vacation!

I am suddenly sick of the cold too. My family went to the beach lastnight and saw a beautiful sunset. I kept trying to ignore the icebergs, snow fence, snow, etc, and look just at the sky and pretend it was summertime again. Then my three year old reminded me that he has a bad "code" and needed a tissue. Keep looking forward to spring, I guess.
