Well, the presents are unwrapped, the tree is in the fire pit in the backyard, and my red and green decorations have been replaced with my spring-colored ones (wishful thinking). The miracle of Christmas this year is that the girls aren't even bored with their toys yet! Ellie asks to make about 3 cakes a day in her easy bake oven, and Mallory still seems interested in her Little People world, complete with a purple car, new house and fairy-tale castle. All is right again and back to "normal."
Why do I feel a strange pang of sadness that it's all over?

So, in little-people world, would the newly dropped off outdoor playhouse be like...I don't know a city?
