I Won!!!!

I have never in my life won anything. There are lots of contests at JQ I'd like to enter to win, but, of course am not allowed to. A few weeks ago, I was interviewing Habitat for Humanity and they were talking about this raffle to win a wooden playhouse, built by Habitat. Raffle tickets were a buck, and I planned to come in that weekend and put about 30 dollars in the jar. I, of course, forgot and was bummed, but knew I wouldn't win anyway. (Yes, my glass is half empty most of the time.) Last weekend, I was at the JQ craft bazaar and to generate more interest, they put the raffle out there too. I NEVER carry cash, but I happened to have 10 bucks on me, which I gladly put in the jar.
Today, Roz from Habitat came to the studio to announce the winner, and she hands me the evelope to read the winner, and it was me! Roz said they had their Christmas party today and mixed up that jar and mixed it some more and happened to pick my name. I am so thrilled! My girls will love this for many years to come. It's a Christmas blessing!
