Sicker than a dog!

I never had a dog, a guinea pig named Vanessa, but no dog. They must get awful sick to warrant the phrase, "sicker than a dog." I have been sick for exactly 10 and a half days and yesterday, I couldn't take it any longer. Every bone in my body was aching, I am tired all the time, I have no energy and I managed to record an ad for the radio station with the wrong phone number at the end, which meant I had to make a special trip to the radio station to fix it. It was then that the tears started coming. I was too tired! Last night Dave asked me if there was anything he could do. I said, yes, you can pray this sickness out of me! He gently prayed for me, nothing loud or strange or anything like that, just that the Lord would heal me of the cold.
I woke up today and feel a lot better! My muscles don't ache. My energy is up. And I feel better than I have in almost 2 weeks. I tried Nyquil. Tylenol Cold, daytime and nightime. Advil Cold and Sinus. Airborne fizzy tablets. And the only thing that worked...Was the healing power of Jesus.

YES!!! Praise God!
The Bible says "The faith of a mustard seed..." that is pretty tiny faith. We don't have to be big, loud, or crazy about our praying, we just need to ask and believe.
So glad you are feeling better!

Glad you are feeling better! I too always forget to just rely on God to heal... go through all the meds until I am worn out! Just got to go to Him first!

Hey C.

It's me Vikki from the bus/Biloxi (came with my daughter Kaitlyn) I'm sure glad you're feelin better! I couldn't find another way to contact you, and wanted to let you know a little something that I forgot to mention on the trip. My 6 year old son had heard about Mississippi for two months and the entire time got the word a little confused in his head. Just before we got on the bus he wanted me to "tell Mrs. Sippi that I love her" Out of the mouths of babe's.... Vikki
P.S. the stockings on your fireplace are beautiful!!!
