Hairbrushes and Thank-you's

Thank you to everyone who posted a comment of encouragement on Friday's post. I gladly receive all your prayers, verses and notes. And thank you to Susie and Jean, who sent a beautiful flower arraingement to brighten the day, and to JQ's "Grandma Green", thank you also for the rose, it ended up on Gracie's grave that afternoon.

Now to the real important stuff...an update on the miracle hairbrush! Read the previous post on the hairbrush story if you're unfamiliar. I love this thing! But, alas, it is not a miracle...there is some serious effort that goes into making the hair look like Farrah's! Melissa (my miracle hairsylist) told me a couple of trick to using the Boars hair brush. You need to hold the brush "horizontal" to your head, not straight down, and you sort of blow dry it over the shaft of the hair, again not straight down on it like I have always done before. And, it takes a long time to do the job correctly. You should section out your hair, and blow dry small sections at a time. If this sounds like a lot of work, it is! When I take the time to blow out my hair properly, my hands cramp up and I get annoyed, but my hair looks great. You can get yourself a miracle brush at Profiles by Design, which is in the old Baker Furniture building on 24th street and Lincoln in Holland.
